My work lives at the intersection of movement, literature, and women’s lived experience.
For over two decades, I have taught yoga across age groups and backgrounds — guiding students not merely toward physical flexibility, but toward discipline, self-awareness, and sustainable strength. What began as a deeply personal practice has grown into a lifelong inquiry into how we live, move, nourish, and reflect.
Today, my work extends beyond the studio floor.
It includes:

MY JOURNEY
My Story
As a child, I trained as a runner under the guidance of Coach Mr. Menon. The discipline of athletics — pre-conditioning, recovery, breath control — shaped my relationship with the body long before I stepped onto a yoga mat.
In my early twenties, I worked as a journalist and communication specialist. Writing sharpened my ability to observe, question, and articulate experience. That voice never left me — it simply waited for the right time to re-emerge.
My formal yoga education includes:
- SVYASA, Bangalore – Foundation in Yoga Philosophy
- Akshar Yoga – Basic, Advanced & Master Level Certifications
- Vinyasa Yoga Shala, Rishikesh – Residential Immersive Training
- Teacher Foundation – Pedagogical Training
- Vedique Nutrition Certification – Unitus Health Academy
Over the years, I have:
- Built and nurtured a boutique studio community in North Bangalore
- Conducted workshops internationally, including Strasbourg, France
- Curated retreats across India
- Guided students preparing for 10K runs and half marathons
- Integrated storytelling into children’s yoga programs
- Supported women navigating various stages of life
Motherhood deepened my patience.
